Ever-curious Roehl Niño Bautista personifies versatile proficiency, a trait called for from 21st century journalists.

Roehl “Ronin” Bautista worked as a web producer for GMA News Online, the online arm of Philippine broadcast giant GMA Network Inc., working mostly on lifestyle and sports stories. He is currently managing web projects at a digital marketing agency,

A graduate of the University of the Philippines, the country’s national university, Ronin was exposed to print, television and online journalism as part of his education. He is now finishing his postgraduate degree and teaching at UP.

He has been a published writer and photographer even prior to college, however. And as a result, he is more than conversant with various forms of written and visual media, spanning from writing for print, to managing stories online, and capturing the right moments and angles in both photos and videos.

Ronin is also one of the brains behind the start-up online photography website Shoot.PH and online college sports and lifestyle website Fullcourtfresh.com.
